Phone calls, in the customer's language
Answer the call. Speak their language.
Zyli is a phone assistant you set up yourself. It greets people, answers from your own documents, asks the questions you choose, and hands the call to a person when that is the right next step. English, Arabic, Hindi, Malayalam, and many other languages — you pick the voice.
Try a call in the browser first. Connect your phone numbers when you are ready.
SpeaksEnglish, العربية, हिन्दी, മലയാളം, اردو, Français, EspañolCaller — Yes, this is Noor.
Zyli — You have a visit tomorrow at 10. Will you come?
Caller — Can we move it to the afternoon?
Zyli — Thursday at 4 is free. I have booked it.
You keep the recording and a written copy of the call.
Why teams use it
The phone rings. Someone has to handle it.
A full call-center product adds seats, queues, and chat apps. A simple voice service gives you one long prompt. Zyli gives you clear steps that anyone on the team can read.
People call when your team is busy.
Evenings, lunch, and busy hours all feel the same to the caller: nobody answers. Zyli can greet them, take the details, and pass the call to a person only when a person is needed.
One script cannot cover a real conversation.
Saying hello, checking a fact, and ending the call are different jobs. You set those as steps. The assistant follows the step that matches what the caller just said.
The recording should stay with you.
The audio, the written call, and the answers sit in your own system. You can change the voice or the language later without drawing the call again.
How a call is set up
Four steps. No technical tour required.
You describe the job in ordinary words. Zyli drafts the steps. You listen once, then connect a phone number.
Describe the job
For example: “Call patients and confirm tomorrow’s visit.” Zyli writes a first version you can edit.
Set the steps
Hello, questions, a lookup in your system, a transfer to a person, and a goodbye. Each step is visible.
Listen to a test
Speak to it in the browser, or type. Change one line and hear the new answer from that point.
Connect the phone
Use a cloud number, a SIP line, or your own mobile number through a GSM gateway. Or put a talk button on your website. Every finished call is saved.
A call you can see
Each step is on the page. Not hidden in a prompt.
What you can add
Useful on the call. Clear after the call.
- Shared rules for tone, so every step sounds like your business.
- The caller’s name, time, and other details filled in automatically.
- A lookup before the greeting, so the first sentence already knows who is calling.
- A real recording when you do not want a generated voice for that line.
- A simple score after the call, so you can review quality.
- A button in your own software that starts the call.
What Zyli can do
The whole job, in plain pieces.
Set it up, take the call, keep the record, then run it for more people.

While someone is talking
- Answer incoming calls and place outgoing calls
- A talk button you can put on your website

What you get when it ends
- A written copy of what was said

- A message sent to the rest of your tools
A list, not one number
- Call a list, pause it, and try again if nobody answers

- Ready-made kits for Python and Node
- A coding assistant can help edit the agent
You choose how it sounds
- A model that both listens and speaks
- Or a separate listener and a separate voice
- Your own accounts: OpenAI, Google, ElevenLabs, Deepgram, and others
- Your own server, if you already run one
- Change the language without redrawing the call

Everyday examples
Jobs people already do by phone.
These are patterns, not customer stories. Read the job. The steps are the same ones you draw in Zyli.
Confirm a visit
Zyli calls the patient, asks if they are coming, offers another time, and writes the answer back to you.
Find the serious enquiries
It asks about budget, timing, and location. Strong matches go to your team. The others end with a tidy note.
Remind someone about a payment
It walks a list of accounts, records the date they promise, and tries again if the call is missed.
Answer after closing time
It gives your hours and address from a document you upload, and transfers the call if the matter is urgent.
Tell them where the order is
The caller asks. Zyli checks your system and says the status in a normal sentence, not a keypad menu.
The same offer, the right account
Each call uses that customer’s name and plan. Afterwards you can check whether the conversation followed your steps.
Visits, desks, and visiting hours
Zyli confirms an appointment, tells the caller which desk to ask for, and reads visiting hours from a document you upload. Urgent calls go to a person. It does not give medical advice.
Admissions, fees, and campus questions
It answers course and fee questions from your documents, reminds a student about a payment date, and transfers the call to the right office.
Your own number
Keep the mobile number people already call.
A GSM gateway is a small box that holds your SIM. It turns that mobile line into a line a phone system can use. Connect the box to Asterisk, and Zyli answers and places calls on the same number. Callers still see your number.
Put the SIM in the gateway
Use the SIM for the number patients, students, or customers already know. The gateway keeps that number. You do not have to buy a new one.
Connect the box to Asterisk
The gateway speaks SIP, the same connection a phone system uses. Point it at Asterisk. Zyli already connects to Asterisk, and to a SIP trunk if that is what you run.
Let Zyli take the call
When someone dials your number, Asterisk hands the live call to Zyli. The assistant follows the steps you set, in the language you chose.
Call out on that same number
Outbound calls leave through the SIM. The person you call sees your number, not a new cloud number.
Zyli does not replace the gateway or Asterisk. Those carry the mobile line. Zyli runs the conversation.
Phone lines
Keep the numbers you already pay for.
A practice call uses the browser. A real call can use Twilio, Vonage, Telnyx, Plivo, Vobiz, Cloudonix, Asterisk, or SIP. A GSM gateway lets you keep a mobile number you already own.
After the call
You can read what happened.
Languages
The caller should not have to switch language for you.
You choose the listener and the voice. If that provider speaks Arabic, English, Hindi, Malayalam, Urdu, French, or Spanish, Zyli can use it. This website is in English, Arabic, Hindi, and Malayalam. The phone assistant can use many more, because the language comes from the voice you connect — not from a single fixed dialect.
SpeaksEnglish, العربية, हिन्दी, മലയാളം, اردو, Français, Español, + moreHow this differs
Three kinds of product. One job.
A regional call-center suite is built for human agents, WhatsApp, and their cloud. A hosted voice service bills you per minute. Zyli is the assistant in this application: steps you can see, on systems you run.
| Question | Call-center suite | Hosted voice service | Zyli |
|---|---|---|---|
| A desk for human agents, plus WhatsApp | This is their main product | Not what they sell | Not included. Zyli handles the voice call, then can transfer to a person. |
| How you design the call | Menus, bots, and agent scripts | Mostly one long prompt | Steps you can see, with questions, lookups, and a transfer. |
| Where the recording lives | On their cloud | On their cloud | On your systems, or on a server you control. |
| Voice, language, and phone line | Theirs, plus connectors | Chosen from their list | Yours. Many languages. The phone lines you already use. |
| Try it before buying numbers | Depends on the product | Usually a test call | Yes. Speak, or type, and replay any line. |
| Calling a long list | Their dialer | You build that yourself | Built in. Pause, resume, and retry. |
Common questions
Before you connect a number.
Do we have to change our phone company?+–
No. You can keep Twilio, Vonage, Telnyx, Plivo, Vobiz, Cloudonix, Asterisk, or SIP. A practice call does not need any of them.
Can a person take over?+–
Yes. You decide at which step the live call should move to a phone number or a colleague.
How does it know our prices and opening hours?+–
Upload a PDF, Word file, or text file up to 5 MB. Short files can be read in full. Longer files can be searched. You can also load the customer’s record before the greeting.
Which languages can it speak?+–
The language follows the voice you connect. Arabic, English, Hindi, Malayalam, and others are available when that provider supports them. Zyli does not claim one private dialect of its own.
Where does the audio go?+–
Into the file store you configure, and the call details go into your database.
Can we use our own mobile number?+–
Yes. Put that SIM in a GSM gateway and connect the gateway to Asterisk or SIP. People keep dialing the number they already have, and outbound calls show that number. You can also use Twilio, Vonage, Telnyx, Plivo, Vobiz, Cloudonix, or another SIP line.
Start with one call
Draw one conversation before you hire another seat.
Listen in the browser. If a line is wrong, change it and play that moment again. Connect a phone number after the steps feel right.
